I cleared all of Durance lvl 2 and the waypoint ends up being right next to the stairs from lvl 1, but in the opposite direction that I took. This game sometimes...



Meph took a while but the moat trick never fails.



I forgot to screenshot this when I picked this up, but I found this nice +3 Decrepify Necro head back in Normal and I was using it until I made my Rhyme shield. I finally mustered up the runes/gems to cube it and holy crap! New Rhyme base for sure

Absolutely sexy!



I only had to go to town once for more potions



Fal is a nice drop, but I don't need it for anything. I'll hold on to it for now, maybe I can cube it into a Lem eventually?

Easily the 6th or 7th rare Serpentskin armor I've seen so far, D2 is trolling me hard right now.



Grand Vizier was no match for Bone Spear spam.

Extra strong + Fanaticism



Next level Bone Wall abuse against Infector.



The fight vs. Diablo was pretty much exactly the same as in Normal, but now I didn't need to aim my attacks, and his lightning hose wasn't nearly as scary. Pretty easy overall.

The Bloody Foothills was entirely populated by Slingers and Quill Rats. So annoying!!! I almost rage quit about half of the way to Shenk.



Shenk himself was no problem.



More Slingers dispatched while saving the barbarians.

The Frozen River or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bone Wall

Pindle was nervy as hell you can see that huge gang of undead behind the bone wall trying to get to me, and my Bone Spears aren't particularly effective at killing them. Normally I love farming Pindle for XP + drops at this point, but that's going to be impossible on this character.



My gear at this point is absolute shit, so I rolled myself a half-decent Lower Kurast map and started doing some runs in hopes of finding some PnB skillers or other nice charms. The only skiller I managed to reroll was this:

I did manage to get enough Hel runes to cube an Io!!!



You know what that means...

The key is to keep rerolling your map until the entrance is right next to Drognan, then you can refresh him in seconds. Found this after just a few minutes. Almost!

Found this while running Countess for cubing runes. Such a sexy bow for low to mid-lvl strafers!



Countess dropped 3 Tals and 3 Thuls before she dropped a single Ral or Amn



Now I just needed a chipped topaz, and as anyone who has played D2 knows, finding the specific gem you need to craft something always takes forever. My boy Rakanishu eventually came through for me.
