After resurrecting Fazel a dozen of times, I decided to tank Duriel myself, worked out pretty well actually.


Headed directly to the Spider Cavern to do two steps at once: first off: +20 life. Sweet.

Always have high hopes when I get my sight focused on these ones.


Guess I shouldn't have had.


Got an Eth! Highest rune so far. Just missing a Tal for my Stealth armor. Also, Eth is one of the most useful runes for melee classes when placed in weapons in this patch. Since -25% target defence is a bit cheesy in 1.09, instead of reducing the defence of my foes to 75% it puts them to -25% which is actually zero.

Just a couple of minutes later a Ral popped as well. Would have been happier with a Tal, but this might come in handy later on, I suppose.
Also I really miss the feature of newer version where runes are highlighted with different colours. I always have a bad feeling of missing them while advancing on.

Before descending to the dungeon for the next organ I went for the waypoint. Found something for Fazel on the way.

Sweet. Loving the OW and the LL on it, so does Fazel.

Always hated the jungle, especially the Great Marsh, finding the waypoint there took me ages. Finally got to the entrance of Kurast.

Had to explore the whole sewers to find the damn lever.
