What I learnt is that Freezing Arrow (with multiple sources of +cold damage) is very good for crown control. More damage from might is better than some CC from holy freeze. And also please get some LR because gloams gave me PTSD. Max valk can pretty much solo norm to NM too, absurdly strong.

I have no experience with lawbringer barb merc, but if you're getting it solely for the decrep, may I suggest to gamble rare bows for CtC Amp instead. From my experience, every little bit of damage counts and you can't do without might merc in hell. First lem can be for Treachery instead.

You will start feeling the roadblock in hell.

Thanks for the advice. In fact, your post is the one that inspired me to try a single pass.
I'm trying pure physical damage though, so no Freezing Arrows, but I do rely on cold damage from charms and equipment.
I'll keep your suggestion about a rare CtC Amp bow in mind. Did you just shoot arrows until it proc'ed and then switched back to your main bow?

Yea. Shoot till Amp procs, then 4 volleys of strafe and repeat. I felt FA was necessary for crowd control, but then again I had an impatient style and was playing SC. All the best!
