I can do all of this with PlugY?!? That information would have been so much more useful while grinding thru my WTs... and here I could have made my life so much more easier!
But in all seriousness, you provide valid points but if someone were to cheat via Hero Editor with “legit” 1.14d D2, we would never know just like PlugY. Still goes back to the honor system. People will cheat if they really want to. Only way to minimize this is to require screen recordings of each tune and prior to runs, you gotta highlight all gear and inventory items. But at that point, it would create in a 90% loss of participants because that is excessive and time consuming which ultimately takes away from completing the runs themselves. So idk. But I had no idea one could hack the game so much with PlugY. I’m prob not going to use it next WT I do.
Out of all of the mentioned stuff, things most players use are:
1. ladder rws, which can be used by txt file anyway
2. extra stash, which doesn't make your game easier in terms of progress in any way, but rather in terms of saving an item for later. I'm personally not a huge fan of eternally grinding for base that I threw away 27 times before. If this was battle net, you would have mules anyway.
3. items level shows. idk how this changes anything except that in past we caught few people "finding" items like lvl90 hotspurs in normal cold plains. if anything, it just shows who's legit and who's muling /importing items.
4. use 2nd char screen to check fcr/fhr/dr etc instead of using calculator. if saving time in this way is something you consider "hacking" and an unfair advantage, check your mental health.
I'm almost positive that less than 10% of players use ANY of the commands written under his point 10.
However I might use /lockmouse now that I see it since I've been using 3rd party programs to lock my windowed diablo, and I've been using it among majority of d2 players for over 10 yeras now , mostly in pvp

The rules were the rules from the start. If you don’t like them just don’t participate I don’t understand the dramatics lol..
this.
well darrajuju would cry about everything and anything if he could.
probably cos he knows that there is more people using
"/dm : Toggle always display mana" than people around here who actually dont consider him to be a dry and sore loser
