you wont be able to use a summoner since Skeletons have a capped AR of 2 in normal, 3 in nightmare and 4 in hell. Lol..what were the devs thinking? They do excellent dmg, something like 52-55 w/maxed Mastery and Raise skeleton(by Classic standards, really nice)and you can ahve what, 25 of them?(55x20= 1375 avg
)Problem is, they cant hit ANYTHING. Enchant only gives pure fire damage , no attack rating boost. Yeah you could have a paladin with Blessed aim or Fanat to supplement them ar, but it will give them roughly...30 ar. so what, 35 ar against thousands of defence of hell monsters? Plus the go-to aura is Conc for dmg or Thorns
Granted you can use the mages, since spells dont have hit chance %, and there is always that innate 5% chance to hit no matter what so its possible even without auras[this is a 1 player WT afterall]. Also you can make a Iron golem out of a hard-hitting 1h weapon, that could boost your damage as well.
Dont get me wrong , they do excellent dmg...2 sojs/sigon shield/wormskull/3 raise skele/3 mastery wand...like what, +10 all skills? But you are going to need ALOT of gold to gamble for all that.
Probably a breeze in Normal and doable NM but in Hell you will suffer. Greatly.
oh and the glitch where your minions disappear, not being able to go through them..maggot lair/arcane sanc say hi. You cant control them like in Expansion with teleport charges/enigma, they just kinda do their own thing like trash mobs
