1) he died when his keyboard ran out of battery it was a wireless one
2) his pc crashed and he was unable to find the d2 save file..

For me, playing single player is to avoid the lag and the spam bots, aswell as playing on /p8.. else i could just aswell be playing on ladder or somewhere else online..
i don't think it was a legit death, and would not even think twice about reviving the char.. if you died by some in game bug, or if the death was cause by your own mistake (not pausing the game and going afk) you should stay dead.. but not like this

it's your char and your decision in the end.. i'll follow you no matter what :)

YES my character is dead but due to something out of my hands.
