I bet that monster stole it out of the chest when it spawned.

Nice drop! (I think Ber is the highest rune you can get from those chests)

True, but monsters can drop up to Cham. (According to my calc :P)

ive found ohm and ber in lk so far, both from poppables though, highest chest rune for me was ist! i think ist rune is even rare from These chests! If i remember right, ist got like 8 Patterns and ber got like 12 ? not sure anymore ^^
