And now, back to spending hundreds of thousands of gold trying to clear a cursed/fana fallen pack from a doorway.

Found the little fucker with fana aura dead behind a door... then came this one.






And his friend! Was wondering why my merc was getting 1 hit.
So far I've spent halfa million on rezzes.

I made it to level 5 and there was a named fallen + night clan + dark archer pack. I nearly died 3 times and then just SE'd.

Infuriating. I cleared that tower for an hour on /8.
I'm done for now. That is a BAD omen.

Aside from the fact that's suicidal, I tried it and found the archer pack.


I have to spam lifetap as it is. Until the merc gets an ebug treach or smoke, and I can use might / sit in back with bladefury, this will go slow and safe.

I guess I'm going to spend a million gold reaching the pits, fuck it.
I need a smoke or treachery SO badly. The merc dies to anything with "cursed" - which is 90% of the unique spawns.

Oh! I found Soul Eater, but he died before my fingers could react.

First elite armor, and it rolled like 100+ def too low to be worth using one of my rolling sets.

After a terrifying chase with a fana lancer pack, we have arrived!!





Made my way into le pits, found level 2, and this was my welcome party!

Guess what happened? Yup, merc died before I could even freezepop the fallens and get near the shamans.









It's impossible to progress past anything with a name. It all has lightning immune, cursed, LE, etc.

I've asked the masters of pvm about where I could possibly find an armor to make my merc survive. Unless that's possible, this walk is over. Sorry.

Why not re run countess on p1?

I don't need any runes.

I need my merc to be able to survive tanking a champ pack.
I die in 2-3 hits to a fallen, so even if I get ravens/tucs/string, I'll just die in 3-4 hits.

I don't get why you are complaining all the time. If you don't need the runes just get any random 3 os armor and make Treachery in it. If you find an eth buggable armor later on you just get a new Lem. Also you don't need to kill the champion packs yet, just kill the normal monsters or as much as you can from the minions for exp. At higher levels merc can handle a lot more even without good stuff. And your a damn sin, they are almost, if not equally easy to play as a paladin is. Paladins who you for the record call overpowered in every comment.

Oh... and you are what? level 75? Not even a Hammerdin and his merc would have it easy in Pits with items equal to yours.
