oath was always my favourite runeword

I wouldnt consider any exceptional base as end-game for a runeword. Especially oath, which has (relatively) easy runes to come by. Any ethereal elite base is probably better, with the exception of some very slow ones (legendary mallet is about all i can think of tbh)

That was so funny, I hardly ever have a need for silver-axe types or bearded axe types. I had one of those wishful thinking moments. I actually thought it was the elite form. I upped two puls to Um and upped two ums to Mal. Just need the 5oc pb. Not interested in doing a regular cta in flail or crystal sword. I want a very fast attack cta so pb is the way to go. I found a 5oc pb in P1 countess runs but couldn't haul it around at that point...it was very early in Hell.



Needed to try it out but it's dangerous. Still haven't found any elite polearms eth or non-eth for the merc.... Thinking of going back to nmare to getting an act 5 merc since hell act 5 mercs are crocked and giving him the lawbringer. Feel like refreshing the LK map anyways. Maybe Act 5 merc will help get past the ancients.

yup, feral is the goal. silver edged can work, not optimal, but it can work. ive seen some people do some serious work with eth oath in nagas and knouts though, which i feel i need to say to amend that earlier statement. the obvious goal is an elite shell, but the naga and knout can get some work done if you get a high roll for sure

No, that is true for whorlwind barbs. The speed in weapon seems to be dominant in affecting frames per attack. But off weap ias does help. Just go to ias calculator and it will show you. Right now, my pb lawbringer is going slower than when I had a 45ias helm. The 20ias glove doesn't get there quite.

Made this craft a bit earlier. Forgot to show it. I like because decrepify reduces the physical immunities of monsters and thus increases the effects of leeching in hell:


But what I need is a dual leech ring or glove. Ring will need high life. The glove will need 20ias. Other mods are gravy...tall order though. Dual leech is hard enough without life and 20ias.
