But aren't your runes orange by default? Or what version are you playing?

If you can change the color for say Lem+ I can see how that would help.

Enigma is great on any char due to the extra STR + MF and skills
Also saves you one skill point on tele :P

Yes, I'm playing the latest version. I made El-Ith default orange
Tal-Mal Set green
Ist-Zod Purple

Any chance you could post a quick guide on how to do this?

I can't see blue/grey... would be a hell of a lot easier if runes/magic items were colored differently.
That is, I would actually be able to work on my walk.

I'd rather not, but if you'd like to know where I got it. I can PM you the website. Also, the creator was going to make one for items, but never did it. Sadly.
