Yep! Makes a big difference in WSK waves 2 and 5. Other than that I kind of like not worrying about mana pots or redemption. I think once I put G'face on merc I will like it even better for baal too.

I have noticed that my belt is filling with juvs now that I'm using redemption more.

I've still got tal's mask on merc for resists, but I will eventually be socketing that g'face and dropping in the 14 res jewel. I'll give to merc when he uses reapers. I just don't want to switch my map quite yet. I have an OK tower right now, and super GG LK. But I'm not doing any LK runs anymore anyway.




My Meph map is one of the worst though. I can't even fit it in one screenshot:




Meph is by far probably my best shot at dracs, but I'm kind of burned out on running him, and I wasn't going to run him anyway w/ this map. Not only is it far, but there are always council members in the middle walkway too, so I have to teleport over the wall, onto the bottom right side of the level, and only then onto the jetty with the portal. It burns almost the entire 25 charges on my amulet.

i dont recall what merc are you useing but!

defiance merc from normal is mutch mutch more usefull than holy freez. you can tank alot more and so can merc. and the merc res will be around 60% if wearing reaper/guli/trech. shael your reaper and ias jool on the guli and boom, decrify all over! and the nice cb delivered so fast to bosses. theres always an option of going might since that would help out with wave 2 even more.

1 row of mana pots is all you need since they are dropping all over the place and you really dont need that mutch mana. and i can imagen that your not running past any champ/uniq pack anyhoo

edit: oh yeah.. forget the meph. andy is far betterdropper in general because of the quest drop bug

Oh yea, I am using holy freeze, because w/o reapers I really needed to slow down the bad guys, especially in hell when level < 89. But you have some very good points there now that the situation is changed. I'm going to play around with those suggestions. I'll let you know. Thanks!!

My rules are though, that I'm not going to twink end game gear, so sockets are expensive. I will likely even use the soj recipe someday for shako or reapers. My throwbarb found an eth reapers, so... I dunno even if I would burn a sock quest or soj on non-eth.


Edit: I just looked up IAS for a2 merc w/ thresher:


Treachery provides 45. shael + 15 IAS Jewel doesn't hit next integer BP. I thought that non-integer BPs were worthless. Is that only for fcr?

well specialy a eth reapers is verry mutch worth it. and reapers slows down enemys just enough to replace the holy freez in my eyes.

i recall doing the same calc on a english version of that and it says something like "attack per second" in the last column. and its the 75% your looking for so yeah ias+ias jool is the wanted one if you have adds on those jewels

Yup - useful adds on 15 IAS jools though... even for THIS walkthough they are still something I'm just dreaming about. Much like a HoZ

Otherwise 6 vs. 5.5 , or 4.1 vs. 4.5 attacks per second is not a big enough improvement for a two-socket investment. My gear > merc gear. I would do it in a blink if this was b.net though. Rush me?

I don't run past anything! And travincal is much closer, but I do run andy from time to time, usually when I'm frustrated w/ my crappy gheeds.

yup.. in general travi is better than andy/meph since you can always score runes and the distance is indeed verry small..

ofcourse the attack isnt as important but it helps ofcourse
