those are the breakpoints in the speed of the strafe volley. The first number is how many frames it takes to fire the first arrow. The second number is how many frames in between arrows it takes to fire the second through tenth arrows. Example of a 9/2 strafe:

Frame 1 - you right click on your mouse
frames 2 through 9 - the zon raises her bow and draws back the string.
Frame 10 - the first arrow flies.
Frame 11 - pick your nose
Frame 12 - second arrow
Frame 13 - flick the booger off your finger
frame 14 - 3rd arrow
frame 15 - check face in mirror
frame 16 - 4th arrow
frame 17 - smile pretty for the critters dodging your arrows
frame 18 - 5th arrow
ect.. until all 10 arrows have been fired.

That is no longer completely correct:

the 9 = the number of frames to shoot the first arrow + the number of frames required to complete the strafe animation at the end.

That's why the number is not the same as the frames for a standard attack.

I'm not sure how the number breaks down between start / finsih, but it does mean you start shooting earlier than frame 9 in this example.

Does it add 5 frames to the begining and 4 frames to the end? I remember hearing about this but no one confirming it.

I'm currently using
Andy's Visage (First pit run dropped it) Nearly Perfect too
Windforce (Hell Forge bought this with Gul, then on my way to 2nd Pit run, another Gul Dropped)
Laying of Hands (Traded for)
+30Resist +Dex Mod Ammy(I believe)
Gore Riders
Manald Ring 7%
Rare Ring with Resist's, 6% Mana Steal
Need to get an Armor (Gul is going toward something here)
I do not have a Merc yet, but my damage is only like 350-2000, will a might Merc add a lot to this?

Btw, thanks for this build, it got me more items in a short span of time then any of my other characters smile.gif

Yes, a might merc would add quite nicely to that damage, so go nuts in NM A2.

For your gear, these would be optimal things to swap out:

1) As soon as you can, get Andy onto merc and get something prettier on your girl. It is a crime to stick this or Tal's mask on a Zon wink.gif
2) Swap out the Manald for a Raven if at all possible at any point. You don't need any more ML
3) Gores are great boots, but if not boss running, then use War Travs. MF and the damage is huge on a bowie. Gores are generally better suited to melee builds.
4) You could get a lot of a Trechery armour for that girl. 45 IAS for a start. The Venom will never harm. Got some FHR too. Nice armour for the price of a Lem.

I *think* but it's ony a guess, that if you compare normal attack speeds with a certain IAS, to the x/ in strafe, then the normal attack speed will give the number of frames up front, and the balance is at the end to finish off the strafe.

It is only a reasonable guess though.

Say if I put a Pride/Dream/Dragon on a Might merc, will they all stack together? I hate Physical Immune's
Seems like the most damage adding gear to add.

Since playing legit is not your problem, why not get that raven, eliminate the other ML ring for a LL ring. Then make delirium in a hat of your choice. From there it is all about getting a fortitude armor.

and yes, all those auras will stack for the merc. However, magic arrow is all you truely need to take out PIs.

By using 2 ravens, my only mana leech comes from WF - 8% - that guarantees me full mana all the time. And there is always the Insight on my merc. And about PI's, when amplify kicks in, they go down like nothing.

Other thing, i have my passive skills give or take where i want them, and still about 20 skills points left. Should i pump dodge skills or go for javelin skill tree ?
