just tried doing a baal run and absolutely no chance!

not enough damage+ his decrypt absolutey disabels me....

Any tips would be appreciated, i feel like im kinda stuck!

i found angelics ring, i might do some duriel/meph+pindle+shenk runs see if i can get anything happening

COMPLETED!

So i did about 40 runs of meph/frigid/pindle and found a couple upgrades!

It took along time to clear the throne, alot of tp to refill pots.

The longest was act 2 i had to get thawing potions as i couldnt kite them out of decrypt range so i was hitting mega slow but my merc definitely did his innings.

Baal was fairly cruisy just huge HP so it took about 10 minutes to slowly chunk him down haha.

Im gonna run some nightmare and see how it is, im hoping i can run some countess runs to get a stockpile of runes. Lets see how it goes

Unfortunately, there is no way around the fact that Barb is very slow in the beginning(as are most melee chars.)

I would suggest rolling with dual “Black” runewords or at least “Strength” and farming NM Andy ASAP. She can drop quite a few very helpful items for you such as Butcher’s Pupil, Headstriker, String of Ears, Rockstopper, IK Helm, etc. Once you get a few of those pieces to drop, it’ll be a game changer.

yeah thats the plan, ive got the runes now for black and strength i just need to find bases. Any recommendations?


I just tried to kill andy then, absolutey no chance with my current setup.

Gonna go back to farming normal baal and hopefully some weapon bases drop for me!

P8 Andy slaps hard. I imagine your merc dies almost instantly, huh?

What is your poison resist?

As far as bases for those, it doesn’t really matter. They’re more for crushing blow, not physical damage as their damage modifiers are weak.

Yeah merc dies super quick. Im gonna find a base ill probs look for a crystal sword/war axe/battle hammer. Ive already got the runes so im just running some cows now

I usually prefer to go with a flail. The damage isn’t bad, the attack speed is good and you can shop for them at the merchants.

Definitely! You should be able to take down Andy with those weapons.
