Players set1 obv cause there is no one forcing you to since you are not using unique or set items

Next a2 mercs are op in this game, cube savage polearms this alone should see you to hell a1
Buy tele + amp/lower resist wands in hell to beef up your damage or break immunes merc is basically your main damage so yea so buy pots heal him, buff chant, aura etc.
Without unique it's a much longer grind. I can go into details but this game is not hard.

I suppose I can make a end game build with a trainer and post some screenshots killing hell Baal if you really genuinely think this is impossible. But if you are are a typical troll which I suspect that 2006 acc might be an indication

The class specific sets are mostly very nice and all of them are more than capable of end game content. There are also plenty of viable builds for every class without lad runewords (obviously, the game was out over a decade before they existed).
That being said, in my mind if someone wants to enable lad rw to create some specific build that revolves around them like a rift sin or something I think that’s fine, just being creative and having fun. But somehow it bothers me when people are enabling them just because they are too scared to go through NM without spirit/insight or too lazy/noob to come up with a melee build that doesn’t revolve around grief/death/Fort. It doesn’t bother me a lot or anything haha not like I care. I just think some lad rw are creative and fun, and some are just plain op and shouldn’t exist

Yeah at the end of the day it's a game. We all have the potential to get a bit salty over our opinions since we see a certain way as the "right way" of playing a game or something. I know for me personally, I feel like some of these runewords go against the "heart" of the game, but that's obviously because in my nostalgia days of d2 they didn't exist. I'm sure that someone who came along to d2 after these rws existed and only knew d2 with them would see it totally different from me. I can't say I haven't been salty over plugy before that's for sure haha, just check the memes thread I made plenty against plugy. But it's all just whatever haha can't blame a human being for acting stupid once in a while. GL to any and all WTs as far as I'm concerned.

I didn't specify was trying to collate the answer my bad if I wasn't clear enough. (U vets get it though :thumbsup:) U can't get amp charges unless it's gavel of pain I believe. It comes as a suffix CtC on most weps.
