IIRC, the presence of staffmods (in this case: +1 to Enchant (Sorceress Only) and +1 to Fire Wall (Sorceress Only)) significantly increases repair cost.
However, staffmodables (except imbue) may have no staffmods, so a cheaper alternative should be possible.

Its more, i havent found a cheaper at a vendor :wacko:
I was looking for a magic staff of teleport without any adds, but no luck so far. Ok, i havent really looked for it actively ^_^
