You can get your leech many other places No need for botd trust me. With 2 griefs we barb kills significantly faster than 1 and botd. I have tested this myself. With the griefs doing alot more damage your leech % works harder for you. I can see the appeal for Botd I really can. But just take it from someone that has tested Grief vs Botd rigorously

I used to play botd, ppl praised grief so hard that I tested it and yes it kills faster.
But it's not that simple. If you play HC ladder without any cheats ( chicken.. mh, whatever those ppl use) botd is by very far the safest choice. 120 stats points , it's crazy, so is dual leech. If you don't have good gear on every slot, and a lot of melee upgrade weapon first, botd can be way more interesting.
That's what I love in D2. You have choice. And botd will never be a bad choice in HC for players without hacks. For me it's botd untill I can afford very good gear on every slot to cover the dual leech and lack of stats. Also I am far from killing two times faster, and my grief is 39/388 Vs an average 378 botd. It's just faster. But I do feel unkillable with botd. Also the ba of botd provide more range and allow way more gear options, and result with in incredible life boost and confort and security.
At the end, the two are awesome weapons.

But stormlash is cooler. Astreon’s also very cool.

I would rather play a zealer or frenzy with either of those over grief or botd any day!!
