Quote (SylvesterStallone @ Nov 5 2019 10:27am)
You won't notice any difference in strbugged or non strbugged in PvP either
You won't notice any difference in using 43 or 45 lifer skillers.
You won't notice any difference in 150 or 200 mf.
Yet there is a difference isn't it ?

the first one is the understatement of the year.

i think there is a difference in bases for merc because they apparently have ias breakpoints like any char. but even if you ignore it there won't be a big difference. what i don't understand is the hate on CV. yeah your merc has to be ~ lvl 92 to be able to wear it but that is the only downside. dmg is equal to CA.
infinity mercs will have highest dmg with CV/CA, forti and andy with ias jewel. downside is no cnbf. could go gladiators instead of forti but then dmg is a lot lower.
if you use thresher or giant thresher for infinity base then you should go for treachery (just look at the breakpoints...). lower dmg but you're free on helm choice.
great poleaxe is worst considering base dmg and breakpoints...

but as already stated, it doesn't matter too much anyway. the differences are hardly visible ingame.

I wanted to make a point about the aforementioned Confuse from delirium.
It is nice for certain characters, but as it causes ranged attackers to scatter and reposition in order to attack each other, it can be very chaotic.

For a fireball sorc, for example, you would rather your targets stay bunched up together doing nothing, instead of arbitrarily dispersed all over the place.

So Gloom is ideal in her scenario.

Here are some examples of it's effectiveness on my zealer's merc.
While those flayers are relatively harmless regardless, I thought this was a perfect example of how effective gloom can be.

Taking into consideration the runes used in Gloom, it's a nice armor.

I love a nice ethereal Gladiator's Bane. I think it would pair nice with a Delirium for CC and survivability.
