True, i have FA, but it doesnt affect cold immunes. Maybe I will have to try both mercs

The undead knockback aura from Lawbringer makes an A5 merc a competitive option as well, depending on where you farm. Pit/AT/CS all have a plurality of undead enemies and the knockback aura keeps them shoved up against a wall where you can take them on one or two at a time.

Delirium/Lawbringer/Treachery is very tanky, and a much more realistic option than hoping you get a Reaper's on a single player character. I used this setup (with Gaze instead of Delirium) and my merc could solo tank Lister and all of his minions on p8 without any problems.

If you're playing online and can just trade for a Reaper's, I would use an A2 freeze merc with Delirium/Reaper's/Treachery.
