Just play softcore imo The HC risk is not there at all if you can just MF back-up gear for all your characters and have it there in case they die. To each their own, but I definitely don't see the point of going HC over SC in this situation.

I mean I can see that. But losing a SP enigma and hours of leveling is going to suck no matter what. And this is one of my first times playing HC, after I get a bit more experience with it I could try a one alt WT

I think this is a good idea, I was going to try this: make a meterorb sorc, farm the shit out of everything to collect smiter gear, farm torches and annis, then make a nice necro, hammerdin, lite sorc, etc and keep playing with those for fun.

I don't care if it's SC or HC. You still have to grind. HC is fun to watch because it's nerve-racking, but I care more about how people use the equipment they find along the way and the decisions they make to progress with gear/farming/etc.

How so? There are those of us on other forums that play exclusively single player and a good portion of us play Hardcore. If a character dies then the gear he had on him and in his stash stays dead. We can still have a stash housing our items.

What are you talking about? If you play on Battle.net you can mule items. It's the exact same thing. I magic find and find gear for, let's say an Amazon. I mule that gear and hold it for when I start an Amazon. How is the risk to HC negated? If my magic finder dies then all my gear that's on him/her goes with it. Are you honestly confused on this concept?
