summons dmg? really want to include that extra 200 dmg? lol. concentration aura on merc > some shitty summon who attacks once per 4 seconds and less if you're talking about wolves.
also, nado will only go in 1 direction and hit whats in it's path while hdin's hammer goes in a circle and hits everything around him 1-2x
hdin much more versatile than a windy.
ele gcs vs pcombs are what like 10 fg vs 15-20 or something similarly small? and if you're talking about 45 lifers, why the hell do you waste fg on 45 lifers for pvm?

hdins have always been better overall and are much easier to play. this is why they are the ultimate cookie cutter char.

face it windy sucks compared to hdin.

The point of this thread was to discuss the differences, but I'm realizing I might have not read the room very well before starting it. Not a problem, I'll drop this topic and go somewhere else. My apologies if I disrupted the normal discussion for this board, take care.

It's 18 frames per attack for the spirit wolves, and they do more damage than that. I think it's worth taking a look at the various summons and the way decrepify is interacting with the resistances to get an idea of what the Druid's capable of, but I'm going to drop the topic here. Thanks for your replies, I'll go over it in my free time.

Oh, I'm not saying Druids are going to do more damage or anything like that. I just wanted to explore what a Druid is actually capable of and take a closer look at the differences.

I've had a lot of paladins and druids in the past, and I know what they're capable of. I just find that my Druids weren't this "inferior being" or whatever that poster above was going on about in that huge copy pasta. Raw damage output, yeah the Paladin was better, but my Druids never felt weak either, and the cyclone, all of their slows, the minions, and the oak sage buff were all really huge benefits.

Anywho, thanks for the reply.

The differences are that Paladin kills everything faster and with 1pt smite can do ubers which a wind druid can not without a full respec and gear overhaul.

Oh, I don't think anyone's going to disagree that smiters are the reigning king of ubers.

The problem that any druid faces are the immune negative positive monsters. Because the Driud is cast rate not so good many overlook people such a good build. Ten times this, so very true.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending. anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say
