Sounds totally fair enough to me.

I’ve actually gone the other way - used to go SC and mule a lot of stuff between chars on SP (my logic was, there was a lot sick gear just sat gathering dust, so why not give it to a char that would use/require it). After a fairly long break from D2 and reading a lot of the WTs here I wanted to give the “HC entirely self-found thing a go”, and gotta say I’m really enjoying it.

TLDR: each to their own :)

Though gothic plate does seem an unusual base for Eni ^_^

I agree that everyone plays their own way. And enjoy the game they want. Hell if u sit and think about it, D2 would no longer still be alive if it wasnt for the bots keeping blizzards attention. But now that ive tried single player, the fun is in finding the item u need for that character. Sharing seems like u might as well not even be in single player to start with.

Yah, true. I've got countless pairs of Trang gloves on my other SP chars, but self-finding them on my java walk, unexpectedly and with such small odds, was very satisfying!

It is single player not single character lol :lol: i also share items between my characters. And i use plugy extended stash :love:

Yeah if using plugy, might as well take advantage of shared stash. The way I look at it is the same as PoE’s solo self found league. Everything is found by me and not traded or farmed by bots or duped or whatever. 100% solo found and If I find a good item for another class, it’s just incentive to roll that class.

For example, had I found another Ber instead of that Jah I probably would have rolled Infinity and just played sorc.

for pvm, sadly string or arach beats everything for 99% builds

Yes, i agree :) to each his own. One might say it is harder to just find items with one character but my goal is to have 7x 90+ chars that have a stash each for a certain build. Meaning i will need a huge amount of runes to make all kind of runewords for the different builds and class specific items. It is a nice project that fits perfectly for SP since there is really no time limit. (Which means a lot in a life with responsibilities and such) also a great way to relive builds that i havent played for ages in pvm.

Yeah this is basically what I’m going for too. Hammer/smite set for pally, poison set for necro if I find dweb, light set for sorc If I find griffs, etc. I already have full IK set if I ever decide to level a barb.

Yeah I’ll be using this until I can find an arach. No such luck yet. I do have a 14% string but I prefer this over just a minuscule amount of DR.
