People still prefer T/GT because it attacks faster and the crushing blow makes up for the lack of hard damage from the slower weapons

Tbh you'll have the socket q for Andy helm if I'm not mistaken. One for Griff, one for Javs and third for Andy. What else could you socket?

Base for Infinity really does not matter. The monsters will be 5 feet under by the time your mercenary even gets a hit in.
