The Horadric Scholar Deckard Cain was waiting anxiously for Tomur when he came back from treasure hunting. Cain was able to link the events happening around the Rogue Encampment directly to Diablo!
Father was right!
Cain tasked Tomur with seeking out and killing one of Diablo's Lesser-Evils, the Maiden of Anguish Andariel.


He was growing stronger with every monster he killed. The monsters around him were getting stronger and more plentiful as well. A single short blade wasn't going to cut it anymore. He had to figure out a way for his poison to reach more enemies faster. He experimented with an old spell he knew called Corpse Explosion. It was an extremely useful spell and he used it often in the past. He made some modifications to the spell so that before the corpse explodes, it rapidly rots on the inside. The resulting explosion creates a potent poisonous gas cloud capable of infecting hordes of monsters at once.

Indeed I do And it's nice for now, but I'm really waiting on the warm weather to come back haha Spring comes slowly in the mountains.

I'm not going to do a big story for the entire WT haha I'm just bored. I'll scale it back soon

Ahh, a fellow poisoner. I can smell the venom.


He met Andariel with a faint heart, but was again quite impressed with himself and his capabilities.

Cain was also impressed by the killing of Andariel. He told Tomur that Diablo was heading East. So Eastward he went.


Elly accompanied him to his destination but then went back to her Encampment.

The desert merchants were surprisingly well stocked.




While scouring the desert for Diablo, he came across an odd Horadric artifact. Cain trained him in how to use it.

The magical cube was able to aid in many different crafts. It would take some time to unlock all of its secrets. He started by working with wands.

Tomur met some very dangerous enemies in the desert. He decided it was best to hunt for some more runes before attempting to chase down Diablo.

After much experimentation, he was able to discover another Rune Word and augment some of his other gear with his extra runes.

Thanks man. I had a lot of fun doing the intro but I think I'm going to scale it back story-wise because I'd rather be playing than writing Not to mention it would take forever to write a story for all of my progress if I made it to act 5 in a day for example. His personality will still make appearances though ofc! He has to find his father's gear after all
