if it were me i'd look into treachery for myself and merc. looks like smoothy touched on both though haha
since you're not using ladder runewords, there's no infinity. If you haven't already, shop yourself a lr wand and stick it on switch.
You're well equipped enough that you could easily push to a3 and farm lk for the runes to make a cta.
at that point if you're careful you could beat the game without much of a sweat.

Atm Im trying to farm an armor to bug for merc and make myself either a better peace or treachery.
I have a tower base 3s shield but will aim for a pavise, cuz of defense difference.
Act 2 is probably going to be the absolute hardest act in this WT which is why I really want to upgrade my merc before starting.

lol no tower is heavy, you might prefer a bone shield or something light so you dont get frw malus with it

but BS can only have 2 sockets?

yeah, right, but hyperion has 49% block just like tower shield for ama, and is only medium

people who say tower shield all times .. lol

Hyperion is actually a good idea. Though, the frw malus would be minimal and it would save you str if your only reason to put points in is for the shield.
If you have other gear that needs 75+ str or closer to the 127 Hyperion needs, then it's a smarter choice for sure.

If you plan to not die and play long term, you will get storm anyways.

the frw malus depends on your base frw, the more frw you have the bigger is the frw malus. i really hate being slow, also you can die more often than you think !
