Druids are pretty dog shit, atleast barb you can build a gold find/horker

Barb 100%, unless you get a crazy gg weapon, they are terrible until then.

Personally I think barbs do very well as long as you have a little patience. I mean if you can simply run NM Andy for a bit you'll definitely get one of the myriad of weapons that can easily carry you through the game. In terms of a walkthrough, barbs are not difficult at all. If you're talking about a first playthrough for like a ladder reset where you want to go quickly, sure, the answer is barb.

Barb is slow.
Even start can be slow now without abusing wsm bugged javelins/throws

Well, im currently playing melee/throw nec with 1 to all summons, gonna use thorns and stuff, currently lvl 17 and that thing melted act1 p8 normal so far xD AMp >
Super safe with bone armor as well lol

sub 50 iq people voting barb I see.

barbs are safe, not that gear dependent outside of eni and they're top tier at pit, trav and seal popping in lower player count games.

druids on the other hand, oh boy.

Fizzure > Normal
Fizzure > NM
Fizzure + armageddon/volcano/moulten boulder > hell.

Once eth reapers it can wolf the F vs anything as well.
