The ring really is a very nice find and it still kinda blows my mind it actually dropped for me. It's probably the best item I've ever self-found in my 15+ years of playing this old game. Sad to think the ring won't be used to its full potential until I can make 'Infinity' and respec to pure light build.

Curious, what are you planning to find in level 85 areas? I don't MF a lot, which is why I ask :)
Level 85 areas are treasure class 85 areas (full list in my profile) that can drop any item and rune in the game. Maggot Lair level 3 could drop a Tal armor, Griffons, or Tyreals. Additionally, the xp is good and HRs always have a chance of dropping. The Pits is a level 85 area that has no inherent physical immunes and it's in A1 which is why you've probably noticed in other walks people farming the shit out of it.
