There are 65536 different drop patterns. Think of it as a lottery of 65536 tickets where 3 of those tickets (on /players 8) always contain a Ber Rune. The only dif is of course that all tickets are always in the stack. Main thing one needs to know is that LK is by far the best place to farm runes from Gul - Ber (maybe even Jah) in SP.
One of those patterns will spawn everytime you click a Super Chest.

Not all patterns are mapped down to the Gem or Potion but the general idea of patterns is still proven to be right. This is unique in diablo 2, this way of deciding drops only exist in Super Chest.
People can discover new patterns. But a new Ohm and a new Ber pattern (patterns that are very sought after and therefor very mapped out) like he had here is not gonna happen. It's just legit.
