So, well underway to lvl 95. Almost have Eni, now I really wanna see Arach or rings drop.

Yeah, I might make Spirit in it if I don't find a Sacred Targe before I get my hands on Eni

Personally I think Archon Plate makes a terrible enigma base. One of the best things about Enigma is that with the plus strength/level you don't need to invest anything into strength. Just pure vit/dex. Archon's 103 strength requirement negates that. A Mage Plate only requires 55 strength and is something you can easily obtain with your base 25 plus your anni/+5 from maras and +2 from H Crest. I just think +100 life is much better than 250 defense.

AP is also way expensive to repair

Just as a funny thing to do once, back when I played on bnet a lot, I had found a 15/15 superior sacred armor with 3 sockets. Naturally I made an eni in it!

Pally looked like a pimp as holy shock din wielding an infinity thresher.

The repair costs were completely ridiculous, had to resort to cube.

This is always a good answer too. Still, I might be one of the only people that actually likes Nigma in a BP for max STR benefit

I've made plenty of BP enigmas in my day. Since I hate the way paladins look in mage plate style armors Breast Plate is the armor of choice for my Hammerdin Enigmas.
