Tough fight and sad drops. While the minions of Chaos Sanctuary are easy, the Diablo fight takes a long time and is dicey - probably not worth it to do CS runs at the current time. Meph runs looking more likely.

And here we are. Currently at the start of act 5 and wishing for a Ko rune soon. I may be in NM act 5, but I'm a long ways from being finished in NM. First I need a setup that can allow me to safely and quickly MF in NM, then I need to do probably hundreds, hopefully not thousands of NM MF runs in order to find Lycander's aim and other desired items to be able to reach and run Hell Ancient Tunnels for Mav's set.

never was a big fan of pvm overall but the most fun I had doing WT was cold arrow bow zon

Didn't know you played haha I thought you were 99.99% a jsp poker player and trader. That's awesome that you enjoyed a cold zon before. Was your wt d2r or legacy, single player or bnet, twinked or non? I made what I consider a totally perfect FA/Strafe zon on bnet which is what inspired this run. The difference in power is obviously profound lol. My amazing bnet zon with all perf gear was destroying packs in hell 8 player games in 1 hit. This zon is scraping by lol. Having a lot of fun though.

I’m offended you don’t remember me via lld
Legacy,bnet, self items

I survived for awhile off a strong merc before finding a decent bow was my biggest struggle

Next try a hunter druid. Summons and Druid wields a bow that was fun as well.

Yeah I remember you llding on a trapper I believe but that was around 10 years ago haha. I was talking more recently :)

Hunter druid is like my bread and butter ^_^ I think at least 50% of my walkthroughs have been hunter druid. Anytime and I were drunk and bored we would run through the game, and he could probably attest that I pretty much always use some form of summon druid lol, either hunter or shockwaver. It's an extremely fun and safe build. I have one summon druid WT posted on jsp actually (found in my profile), but it's a summon/shockwave/fireclaw hybrid rather than a hunter. He reached level 97 before I got a new computer and didn't transfer the files  Sounds like we have very similar pvm preferences!!!

And yeah, for me my goal is more item-oriented than anything since I want to play with Mavs set. So my biggest struggle will be items also. I imagine I'll be in NM for quite a while before I can even begin my real item hunt in hell. I want to farm a setup that has at least 150% mf, 25%+ res all in hell, 50%+ frw, 1k+ life, and can deal with all CI before entering hell. I am not sure what this setup will consist of at the moment, however I'm sure Lycander's aim and Buriza will be involved, probably Stealskull and War Travs also. The rest I really don't know yet. Gotta wait and see what works.

Obviously I know you, I directly PM'd you when I started HLD'ing to ask for practice in HLD haha. You brought a trapper to duel my hdin. I didn't win a duel. Ongoing, I did well overall in HLD, but trappers were my bane. I feel that I did very well overall. I won at least 90%+ of my matchups in hld and my only problems were trappers, bugged mana charm using sorcs, other hdins, and other players who were simply better than me  I am currently trying to rebuild my hdin on east for some more hld duels ^_^

At this point, I had some time to kill but wasn't feeling particularly ambitious to push forward or try anything risky so I just did some Fridgid WP boss runs from level 68 to 70. Tal's weapon.

Maxed out on gold again during these runs, decided to gamble rings this time instead of amulets.

Saved this for now, not sure if I'll ever use it though.

I forgot that these existed! There is no way that I'd have room to buy this and just hang onto it, but shopping one later could be a useful resource if I'm having trouble passing a certain boss or something.

First exceptional unique I believe? And shortly after this, I hit level 70. Pretty uneventful runs.

At this point, I really needed more room again. The Matri bow and the shael/ef taking up 10 stash spaces was really hurting me, so I decided to do some LK runs after all to get the Ko for Melody, free up some space, and bolster my charm collection. LK runs started paying off right away with this useful sc! Currently my best sc.

Wish I had this at level 9 lol
