Act IV (Nightmare)

  • While in Act IV, I am unable to have a shield equipped.
  • I must kill Izual with less than 200 total armor; screenshot stats prior and after killing.
  • During the entire time that I'm in the Chaos Sanctuary, I cannot use any skill which level is equal to or greater than 24.


Cmon Randle, quit being lazy on me. I'm 100% gonna need your help w/ this act :unsure:

Whelp.. I've got ~500ish more screenshots to sift thru, edit, and post. So hoping to finish up w/ two more big updates and we will be all caught up! But don't worry, I won't be using all of the s/s as I typically get picture happy while playing and never end up using them all :P . Later everybody! Have a wonderful New Year!!

And I had just given up hope too! But too bad it came w/out a Ko and after I was already crazy deep in Durance lvl 2 <_<

bruh, the fire res of these monsters in Act IV are borderline FI lol.... It sucked haha. But yea, the Lem was nice! Still have it stashed trying to find a good base to use it in

Bloody hell... These guys... I know there are mobs of these kiddos in Chaos so that's not gonna be fun. The kill speed of an AIII merc (let alone a shitty geared one) is agonizing


As mentioned just earlier in this specific post, even the non-FI enemies are insanely difficult to take down even w/ a handful of Hydras and spamming Fire Ball. The difficulty I'm experiencing so far in this act significantly spiked compared to earlier in NM :cry:

I give up lol. Act III Cold Iron Wolf is great defensively, but watching it try and kill enemies on /p8 is like watching paint dry


This is what I wanna see! Plus it'll help w/ all kinds of enemies. And lightning mercs tend to be better dmg-wise compared to their fire & cold counterparts


Went ahead and dropped my armor & boots just like last time to reach the sub 200 total defense vs. Izzy restriction

At this point, progression is just wicked slow. Dev n I was clear a tiny little area and then get pushed back by new enemies before we can kill them. I ended up just kiting most of the FI enemies towards the entrance of the area and then tele'ing away to get them out of the way

The Doom Knights made it a bit trickier than I would have liked. So I mostly tried to ignore them while summoning a bunch of Hydras and then herding Izual through them while using Fire Ball and Teleport to add some xtra dmg and then evade


It was a bit slow, but we were getting it done

The issue now though is that I'm running dangerously low on Full Rejuvs and I still have Chaos & Diablo left :mellow:

So I went ahead and stashed the few remaining Rejuv pots since reserves were getting low

And w/ Izzy downed, we got our first lvl 20 maxed skill--Fire Mastery!! @ lvl 72 no less haha


Finally we can tele and skip all the way to the River


These guys here are hands down the tankiest non-champion/unique monsters I've fought so far. Takes a lot just to take down 1 and a crazy amount of time/effort to take down a mob :unsure:
