Honestly I'm not sure about the patterns on lower /player X settings. The only thing I'm certain of is that /player 1 contains more patterns but less with cool runes in them. Basically it's just worse but how much I'm not certain of. There's also very bad information that pass as facts when it comes to Lower Kurast. For example most "guides" say Lo can't spawn on /players 8 because it used to be like this way back (several patches ago); and Ber couldn't spawn on the lower player settings etc. It's not true.

The forum where I hang (mostly read ^^) have done a lot of testing on the patterns but just not enough for specific numbers on the lower settings.

I think it's worth running LK tho. But it's not going to be very effective with the map resetting for every new game. So unless you don't play manually I'm not sure how well it puts up numbers against Travi Running for example.

hey seb, howcome you keep rerolling that diadem? the formula for that reroll is ilvl = int(.4 * clvl) + int(.4 * ilvl) , so wouldn't the item level drop considerably each time you reroll it (and once you drop below ilvl = 90, you cant get +2 all skills). i think on the 4th reroll you got a +2 pally skills, which was strange too many, maybe there is something else going on.

PS - long time lurker, you are fucking awesome, this walkthrough should be considered one of the greatest epics of our time, up there with the bible or LOTR, especially since necro is my favorite class.

You are absolutely right but Diadems doesn't care about ilvl, for some wierd reason. Doesn't work with Coronet's or lower qual tho

EDIT: Badly formulated by me, they care about ilvl but not when being rerolled

Diadems have a mlvl of 18 and a qlvl of 85.

Affix level = ilvl + mlvl

If qlvl is higher than ilvl, then ilvl=qlvl.

So Diadems will always have an affix level of 99.
