Yah apparently blizzard fixed it in hell but never bothered to fix it in nm lol... so yah need to be careful. I think cold enchant and lightning enchant makes even more ridiculous.. not sure exactly on that though

since bartuc is lightning enchanted as a hard affix, he's often enchanted by two elements.
this is especially dangerous with abilities that can put mobs into hit recovery without dealing massive damage- rapid knockbacks from leap, or the 10% chance that a shockwave/mind blast/war cry will put the stun debuff on them
if you have a shockwave druid or war cry barb, it can become absurdly deadly with multiple enchantments, since it will trigger hit recovery on every hit from every instance. anyone who has played shockwave or war cry in pvm should have noticed this often enough to get suspicious.
and the effect is doubled on scarab demons since they trigger it from both lightning enchanted and their default behavior
The way fire enchanted damage is calculated isn't way way different than above. Its based on 0.375-0.625% of the maximum players 1 life of a base normal mob of the unique's type, scaled for its monlvl. IE a level 88 council member has 10201- 12519 life, so bartuc would have 0.375-0.625% of 11360 as fire and again as phys (0.75-1.25% total). So 38-64 fire + 38-64 phys damage, with 5% chance to crit for double damage of both types.
fire enchanted was heavily nerfed by blizzard in hell many years ago to be this low, its actually far more threatening in norm/nightmare. It deals 3.5-5.833% of both in NM, 5.625-9.375% of both in norm. Which is why so many dumb rushers get surprised and explode themselves on geleb in nightmare despite being able to clear him in hell. For comparison, bartuc's cold nova will deal 318-320 cold damage with 46 second chill duration, again with 5% chance to crit
also in fact, NM bartuc has fire explosions of 199-332 phys + 199-332 fire, to compare just how deadly fire enchanted is in NM
hence the real threat in hell is cold enchanted bartuc. He's capable of dealing up to a maximum of 1994 cold damage per second + 5% crit if you rapidly trigger his novas to hit at 6.25 per second. Get him with aura enchanted conviction + cold enchanted and war cry him and he's a rip machine.
