Finally finnished the read! Very cool!

I know you probably don't want this kind of farming, but I have always wanted to play a dual Dream paladin with Crescent Moon and Whisp Projector with Conviction Aura and Resist Lightning for the synergy.

Then an Act 1 Fana rogue. It does insande lightning damage and decent physical damage. Plus you'll have a level 25~ conviction so lightning immunes really isn't problem.

It's one of the coolest not-so-classic builds out there imo :)

Will give you full answer tomorrow, vocation have ended so won't have 14 hours a day to play this game no more :/

Pits will be easy place for sure.

pit's is like best place for physical chars. monsters have no hp and 75% of them are life leechable.

Right, got some time to answer to this question but I will not update this topic with new pictures until tomorrow (sorry a bit tired ~ )

Dual dream is my ideal goal, however I will build him very different to what you are suggesting:

Grief PB
Dual dream
Enigma / Coh / Fortie (prolly enigma idk yet)
Raven / Dual Leech ring
Raven
Strings
Loh
Gores

Merc:

Infi to break immunes / Andariel's face / Fortie (cause with my fana he doesn't need treachery, so off my case)

20 lighting res / 20 salvation / 20 HS / 20 Fana / res prolly in zeal for better AR.

This is more physical damage oriented dual dream set up. Infi is enough to break all of the normal monsters lighting immunity and if I cannot then raw physical damage of grief will fix it.

Reasons are simple, dual dream provide level 30 holy shock aura which gives 1-7k lighting damage while raw damage from grief pb will give another more then 5k average physical damage which is life leechable giving me more sustain.

So yeah, your build is good but mine is more I would say practical? Both builds are good, yours is more lighting damage oriented where as mine more survival / traditional zealot.

And pictures update will be tomorrow, sorry gents. 1st day back to work and they gave me a lot of grief ._. (Wish diablo2 would do the same (as if runeword, yeah my pan is bad) but oh well)

Definately not arguing with you (even with the Fortitude when fana is involved ;)) just posted a build I felt similar to yours. I also prefer to have my on Conviction over my Fana aura for various reason (one that you'll never get affected by that aura yourself ie) and a1 rogues are so rarely useful, but is in this build! :D

Keep going

with level 20 fanaticism aura merc has following attack speed table (using GT / Thresher)

Finding 15 ias is not going to be a problem for merc :P also he will be using treachery regardless because I need x2 Lo runes myself.

Regarding mercs and aura's.

I prefer fana on me due to higher physical damage (like.. a lot) + A1's merc ai is retarded and she gets lost all the time. Resistance... normal boss will die fast and in UT case with Uber Mephisto... I can always switch on salvation just for him (Merc will die there regardless...)

Your build is good, I just prefer mine with better hp sustain. If I wanted to do more damage with zeal I d roll with sorceress because her dual dream damage is... retarded is the kindest way to say it XD (easy 30k+ with tight budget and 40-50k on normal gear)

Just thought I'd add something of a weird build I did a few years back:

I zealed with an infinity thresher!
holy shock aura
And used a1 fanat merc

Was silly to watch him swing that thing.
A little slow on the attack but it could mow.

Other notable items:
Sup sacred armor enigma
Priests diadem of atlas with 2x gg jewels

The minus res on infinity counts when you weild it yourself!

this sounds fun lol

should use treachery though as you'd want ias, that much str is silly for auradin

I take it you mean dream zealot instead of hdin...

Fire and lighting mastery applies twice if you are using it in melee. enchant should be 1k+ (make it 2k after fire mastery bug) and dual dream with lighting mastery does 10k+ and doubles after lighting mastery.

Finally got almost 3 mils, decided to gamble. Here is my fail...

And how it should have been done.

One of the better gambled items.
