I have to go really slow in the Pit. I can deal with the non-LI's just fine, and random LI's are taken down slowly by my merc and valk, but the unique Demon Archer's in Pit 2 really mess me up. I have to either skip them or pull them one by one to the top of the map. I feel too fragile for Andy at the moment.

I'll probably farm Countess and the Pit until I get a Treachery for my merc, possibly Obedience, and a Sanctuary shield if I have the patience.

What do you think about an Act 5 Merc with a Lawbringer sword, Treachery, and G-Face (15IAS)? The Sanctuary aura and Decrepify seem really nice but I'm not so sure about the damage Lawbringer puts out. Would Decrepify make it possible to jab stuff to death with my shitty javelins and crushing blow?

I would not "waste" sockets on your merc unless you're really sure that's for the best. Imo Act 2 merc is just too stronk to pass up on.

Go with a Might Merc and try to farm Meph NM for Titans. Titans + LoH isn't too hard to get and it'll allow you to jab pretty much anything to death.
