silver is an excellent game. you get the new world then some of the original as well late in the game.

for my money though nothing beats red/blue. and thats only because i hate starting with god damn pikachu and having to catch a nidoran to beat the first gym effectively.

Its what i always did the nidoran catch method. I just love nidoking and queen. Then years later i saw a yellow world record speed run amd he spammed the nidoran until he got one first catch lol. Took him hours of rng just to get that was brutal!

But your 2ds can take screenshots. Not sure if screenies would warrant a WT though. I highly doubt it for this type of game.

Yup, the nido is a staple in doing a perfect speedrun.
