Of course it's always up to the individual how they want to play the game. If that's what you've decided that's fair enough, not judging either way.

I would argue that with regards to that certain third-party program, it removed a long-standing inconvenience to a lot of players for SP. Whilst I think said modification went overboard with practically unlimited stash space, the fact that everyone and their mother on Bnet has at least half a dozen mules is clearly saying something about the amount of stash space people wanted and were given.

I already addressed all these points but it doesn’t seem like you understand where I’m coming from at all, but that’s fine buddy. BTW we agree on one point - plugy doesn’t make you more likely to cheat...
It makes you already a cheater




They gave us as much stash space as they wanted to. If we made mods for everything we found inconvenient in our games... anywho. I’ve said all I wanted to say and addressed every point from stash to infinite respec starting in a1 to anni/torch in sp and others. It’s good to have a range from vanilla all the way up to median xl. Gives variety.

Nobody took me over man, you need to calm down. All of my first WTs were Vanilla. I played SP for half a decade on softcore, all vanilla. I only installed LRW for my HC/jsp chars, now I am taking it away for my own reasons. I never had plugy.

I stated my opinions and I also said that I hold them up to nobody else. Those are my opinions, my rules for myself which I have deemed appropriate. I was just teasing you when I said that "plugy is cheating", that is my personal opinion ofc, but I would never hold my own beliefs up against someone else IRL or in a game. If I knew you would react this way I wouldn't have joked about it. It's my third time saying that I think it's good to have a mixture of vanilla, lrw, plugy, median etc for the diversity in WTs. I literally said it in the post that you quoted me in.

Don't let yourself get so upset about it, you don't want to end up as a darajuju-style representative of plugy.

If someone had tried to convince me that people in the future would get this worked up over the way other people, who they don’t know, play an 18 year old game WHILE IN SINGLE PLAYER MODE ON THEIR OWN COMPUTERS , I wouldn’t have believed them.

The whole plugy debate is baffling to me. If you don’t like how someone plays, don’t read their posts. There’s lots of content online that people aren’t fans of, but that doesn’t mean it’s useful or productive or good to rage at someone for something their doing.

And in case it wasn’t clear, I agree with you Bela and I think anyone worked up about the plugy issue (on either side) is bananas.

I have been looking towards vanilla for some time now, too. Might do a vanilla (or even classic) WT after I finish my asn, but I am not sure how to technically do this.
I am really curious about what items were the go-to-ones back in the day and I am already hyped about the "pureness" of the game. So, definately going to follow your walk.

Honestly I am sad to leave it too, I was looking forward to Dual Dream but I'd rather go back to Vanilla! I will still do a Shocker one day, it will just have to be a Physical/Lightning hybrid in order to bypass immunes I'd like to try out a classic WT as well at some point, I used to play HC classic quite a lot on b.net. I'll look forward to yours

D2 is 100% difficult game. I've never understood the logic in this forum about plugy taking away from the challenge...what challenge lol
