Hahah I know! I wish I could use one, but crowd control and positioning are absolutely what's carrying me. If I drop holy freeze I get run over by stronger packs.


Out the door we go, into A4! First area was a breeze. Couple packs, but nothing serious. Found Plains of Despair along the first wall I chose too which was nice. However.... SOULS :cry: Not good with my 37% Light Res, gonna have to be careful.





Souls were there, and HURT, but seemed to be pretty sparse, fortunately. Strategy vs them was try to zigzag into blind areas to avoid the laser beam of like 10 shots hitting me, then drop a bear beside them to draw fire. They go down quickly when I hit 'em, and also are pretty easy to separate big packs. Found Izzy on my first outside pass, so I didn't have to spend too long in Soulland.





The nastiest pack of souls I found here. Had to park the boss, but killed his friends. Just couldn't do enough damage to ever actually kill the bastard.





I will say, though souls were the most dangerous, those Flesh Spawners seem to have like 99.9% physical immunity, in literally killed an individual Flesh Spawner half as quickly as I killed Izzy... sheesh.

Into City of the Damned. Had a lot of Tainted, which still hurt, but I can leech off of them, and they die in 1-2 furys apiece, and I didn't find any boss packs of them, so it was pretty smooth through there. Not a long search for the WP either.





Into River we go. Got a decent roll on monsters; Doom Knight Mages, Urdars and Floaty Lightning things whose name I forget. Took this screenshot as a good example how I like to set up fights, with Jemali occupying the bigger clump, the bear luring stragglers back towards Jemali, taking ranged fire, and generally being a handy recastable tank, and my fighting 1v1 against individual monsters, and moving around to pick off guys on the outside.





Holy Urdars! There's a Conviction Mage pack just behind them too, making for a nice double pack. At least it's at a chokepoint...

Edit: That river geography looks a little different, I think this was the pack with the boss Urdars and Convic mages, but maybe I either went forward a bit or pulled 'em back, or just took the wrong screenshot here. In any case, you get the idea ;)





Got the WP, but still no sign of the Forge... back we go. Dinged 86 in here too.





Ah-ha, there you are... Conviction, thankfully no Fanat or Might on him, he was a pushover.

Thinking about pushing for Baal.

I've actually been wanting to get a character going for the next Farmathon, so I'll do my longer term farming on that character. As much fun as this Druid is, he's not much of a MFer ;)
