the build you've got now (fb/orb) is probably the most viable dual element out there.
If you wanna go single element you're gonna have to make your merc really strong to take care of immunes.
If it were me i'd stick with the build you've got. If you wanna switch, i'd go blizz and rush to a2 and have some fun in ancient tunnels.

either way he's gonna wanna have extra lvls and +skills and other decent equipment to be hell viable.
As long as you play it safe you'll be fine. fb/orb sorc is more than capable of soloing the game
