On my way through the Palace Cellar. Was pretty easy down there.
Archers and Mages surprisingly couldn't do any real dmg.

if I can get along without the fcr on it. And... it has the way cooler look

First try: a new helmet for merc... sucked but he's using it now anyways, since it's better than his old.


Second try a new belt for me... just for open wounds and life... but I sold it. Needed some res on it. Will try another one

For me, posting this WT keeps me going... Here are a lot of people who like
to read WTs and every walk is different. So I can only recommend to post it

Now it starts...
Tbh there is nothing in this game that scares me as much as Duriel does... I don't know why
but this guy is kind of a nightmare for me. Killed me so many times before
I hat this little chamber, the freezing and the knockback.
I was really nervous... believe me.

The battle begins. I used static ofc and merc's crushing blow from Rattlecage worked pretty well.
I used lifetab and tried to keep merc alive. I could tank the hits of Duriel way better then he could. Dunno why.
But I had to pot a lot for me and merc so I towned several times to buy new healthpotions. Resurrected merc 2 or 3 times, too.


And then thus happened
Not long after that screen merc died and all pots were used...
So I had to save&exit for the first time in this WT. I just could not bring him down alone without pots


In this screen you can see how low my life was and probably one or two pots left in the belt.
Well... I was pretty pissed. After a break I farmed Act 1 a bit to get some new rejuvs, before I actually
gave Duriel another try.

Might be worth upping that rockfleece once for merc or something

On to the second try. I was much more concentrated this time.
I messep up weapon slots and skills in the last fight, because my fingers were attracted by the ESC
button more than is healthy...


Therefore the battle was way easier now. I think I towned twice to resurrect merc tho


As you can see in the picture I still got at least one reju after the fight.
Fleshrender is one of my favorite items in the game but not usefull for me
So no upgrades for me from Duriel.
End of Act 2 Nightmare and still alive

tough spots: Sewers lvl 3; Duriel
comment: I'm really looking forward to act 3. I had no real problems expect Duriel in this act.
She's doing pretty good damage wise and survivability is okay, too. Hoping to get some more life in any way soon.
Don't know if the might merc was the correct decision. I'm not benefitting at all from it. I probably will change again,
time will tell.
