is infinty for your golem? since i've heard that conviction aura cannot effect p. resists.

Infinity is for my merc. It lowers fire res and CE is 50% physical and 50% fire damage. Infinity itself also has a lot of CB

even if that's true (seems wrong?) infinity is still the best merc weapon. Conviction aura will make merc hit more often, increase golem damage, and increase corpse explosion damage.

You must not have read many of Seb's walks. He is legendary for grinding more than the combination of all produced kitchen appliances and construction machines in history. He's very patient and methodical, and knows the science behind this game better than I do, or more than most players I know. 300 runs? He did those while eating breakfast this morning, before he had his shoes tied to go get the paper outside.
