At this point the SoJ was burning a hole in my inventory so I knew I needed to use it for something! Since I know that I'm not ever going to wear it, my only other options were to use it in a cube recipe. I could use it to socket a rare, but if I found some truly godly rare weapon I could just use a socket quest on it anyway, and I don't feel like holding on to it forever and never using it. My only other option was to use it to reroll a rare. The SoJ rare rerolling recipe will produce an ilvl 99 item at my current level so I figured why not give it a shot! First things first, gamble a rare axe to be rerolled.

Cruel Fool's Mechanic's War Axe of Transcendence of Slaughter of Quickness --> upgrade to zerker --> gg.



Or not it was worth a try I guess!

Non-eth the damage is about the same as eth Kelpie. Hone would be a better weapon considering the sockets, but then I would lose the slow from Kelpie. After much deliberation I decided to keep the Kelpie.

Really nice find! I just need to make up some res elsewhere so that I can wear these going forward. HoZ doesn't have a ton of resists so I will have to rely on charms pretty heavily.

Socket HoZ with a Pdiamond?

That's the plan for now. 175 resist all is the magic number to get 75@ in Hell. 20 from Malah scrolls + 50 from HoZ + 19 from P diamond = 89, so I'm still way low. I will probably socket my Gaze with the Um that I have, but then my only other place to get more resists is my body armor and charms, so it will be tight either way.

Not a bad roll at all, but I like my last ones better
