So do we have to s/s both the drop pic AND the roll of sets and uniques for them to be valid? Even on items that don't have varying stats? I have many s/s's of items but many only the drop pic, I wasn't aware we had to take a s/s of the Id'd item unless it was perf.

You only have to take Double S/S for unique/set amulets or rings because we cant tell what it is unidentified. Any other item is easy to id from item type.
