Why Hilords over Cats Eye? I’m not as familiar with java.

I guess its a matter of taste but I prefer the skill, LR, DSand ias. I prefer Enigma on javazons so I guess the frw isnt so needed.

Cats eye is good on bowzon, highlord is an endgame option for javazon without any other amulet being as good or better

Is it the +1 to All Skills coupled with the 20ias? Don’t get me wrong, Highlords is an awesome, end-game ammy for most melee builds, but pretty much all of javas damage is elemental and I have a hard time believing that DS makes a huge damage difference.

I would consider maras in certain builds but that would demand 2x15ias/15@ jools

The resist is awesome. Only LR and FR needed and as a javazon it could be hard sometimes to reach full resists if u dont want half inventory

Deadly strike is helpful till he gets infinity to kill light immunes with jab.
+1 skills is a nice add on your damage since it boosts all 5 synergies to your main skills.
Light res is amazing especially vs souls.

Would take all of these rather than extra dexterity on cats eye which allows you to pump up some more vita.

But synergies don’t increase damage to main skill unless it’s a hard point..?

+skills don't work on synergies. only the hard points invested in skills work towards synergy bonuses.
