Stats starting Hell...those resists



My Blood Moor map had one of those nice chests right next to the Cold Plains entrance so I will farm it for a bit. Found this nice amulet on my first run now I'm at the 75 FCR breakpoint.

Here's what I'm running. The area near the waypoint usually has 1-2 boss packs and a couple of poppables, then another 1-2 boss packs as soon as I get into the Blood Moor, and the chest is inside the house.



Taking a break from farming to get a free skill point.



Made a new Stealth because I've been wearing that god damn quilted armor for like 140 levels straight at this point.

Nice charm from the chest!



+2 necro skills, 20 fcr, 30 str, 60 life, 20@, 2os coming right up...

Abusing the shit out of bone prison.



First necro head (rare, magic, white, anything) with bone spear I've seen so far, no idea why these seem to be so impossible to find.



More bone prison abuse.

Had to keep using my teleport staff to keep merc from going on suicide missions.

First Countess kill on /p8 was a bit wild, hence the messed up screenshot. My Tower map is really good too!

Finally made the new Insight for my merc.



Cleared to the Pits, hit 79 on my first clear.



Hit 80 a short time later. This Pits map is awful, there are at least 6-8 Fallen Shaman on the first level

Such awful, shitty luck. I had an archer boss pack locked up in a bone prison and I was spearing them away. The boss monster (fire, cold, teleportation) was down to a sliver of life when suddenly she teleports just above me. I have no time to react and she dies instantly, and the fire explosion + frost nova kills me in one hit.



I'm crushed right now. I had such high hopes for this character, and after dying the first time I thought for sure I had learned enough from my mistakes to make it through the rest of the game. Now I don't know what to believe

I need to take a break from this character, and from D2 in general for a little while.
