Good advice but, here are my reasons:

I do not plan to stay bow amazon forever
Half of the pits are cold immune
My physical damage is pathetic so I still need to cute and freezing aura helps to lower enemy dps keeping my valk + merc alive for a longer time
And I got a nice surprise waiting up ahead
