I just dont see the point in spending money on fake money.  I also do not make a habit of hunting runes.  If a HR happens to fall, so be it.  If a HR does not fall, no skin off of my nose.

I look at it this way, what is the difference in spending $100 on a Friday night only to wake up feeling like crap with a hang over or spend a few bucks on something you enjoy at home? It's all entertainment. The Friday night never comes back again, you must spend over and over to get the same result, where as spend a few bucks on items or donating to jsp (a great website indeed) that you can use over and over and over.

I'm not endorsing anyone go out and spend their money on anything, but its a simple matter of choice of what people choose to spend their money on. How much does a nice sports car cost? $40k and up? Not to mention all the gas and oil and insurance you'll shell out just to look cool. Spend $100 bucks on a nice character that you can use again and again with many nights of doing what ever you do that tickles your fancy in the game, well, its not hard to conclude.

Besides the philosophical debate on how to spend money, great to know the odds of where to get runs. smile.gif - excellent to know the odds. Best rune I've found so far is a Ber in Chaos, second best, a Sur in Chaos, third best was a Lo from Meph. A few Mal runes from throne and 1 from countess. This after many years of game play. So the odds of finding a legit rune are almost none existent for those who don't get a chance to MF much.
