I can die, if the golem gets a killing blow, while having more base life than me, because we share life. E.g. Diablo's fire and lightning attacks can make some close calls if I am not prepared with rejuvs.

But would iron golem not kill quicker? So if you spammed potions you'd be fine so to speak?

I remember dying many times in classic when my BG got owned.

Iron Golem might kill quicker, but will not heal me, so using BG is way much better.

Absolutely not. I only need BG to keep me alive combined with IM, and as soon as I get the first corpse the rest of the fight is handled by CE.

This time was easier than Normal, because the current CE radius is high enough to deal with the Flayers and their shamans.

Fun Fact
In the old days Fanaticism aura increased only Attack Rating (135% at slvl20) and Attack Spped (+35% at slvl20), so it was pretty much useless.
The best Paladin aura back then was definitely Thorns (1010% damage return at slvl20).

Was wondering about how much of your insider jokes do the readers get :D It gives me a bit more fun but the wt is amazing on its own anyways :)
About your last post, do you think one could make a thorns paladin with basically only defensive setup or it wouldn't be enough
(provided I can get a 1.0 diablo ofc)
