as my usual d2 quirks, i always save corpsefire for last. does anybody else?
OMG! Yes. I do that and I used to lead him to the entrance of the cave and kill him there as a warning to any other monsters which might be thinking of making it their hideout.

I also have a strange quick of waiting until I'm level 8 then hiring a Rogue and letting her kill Blood Raven. I feel like she has more reason to desire vengeance.

Clicking your health and mana globes will show numbers, it's nice for everything reading aswell as yourself

So that's how it happened. I have one comp which shows the mana and another showing the life. I guess I accidentally clicked the globes. I will now use this feature all the time on both.

all the barbs i played before this were conc barbs- frenzy seems faster on act bosses, but it fucking sucks for killing packs. it has that zeal effect where it spreads damage on mobs, which is not what i want. ive been using howl/grim ward a shitton with tactical taunts to try to deal with singling out the ones i want to hit first, but if anybodys got some advice on that ill take it.
Just a couple of ideas which you've prolly already thought of: Have one cold damage charm in your inventory (or wear Raven) so each monster gets chilled and have as many poison damage charms as you can so while you are merely giving them love taps, they can still be busy moving slower and if not losing life, at least countering their regen.

has anybody had a map spawn like this? for those who cant see, the dry hills entrance is right next to lut gholein exit.
Yep. I've had it like that but on the other side. I've also had a map where it all twists around so the Lost City bumps right up to Lut Gholein which made me question the sanity of the town's peeps who couldn't find it.

and found this soon after. whoever said that you gotta open all the evil urns, ty. probably my happiest find this wt.
I go one step further and open every treasure chest, kick every barrel and urn and simply look in everything.

too lazy to work in all my charms. theyre all res and life, with a few max damage/ar charms. i have one 12 fhr gc with some mana on it
Be sure to keep track of your total FHR so that you hit your breakpoints. I would think 48 for 5 frame would be the minimum you'd want and 86 for 4 frame would be the best. 200 for the next BP would require too much trade off in other areas. The key point I'm making is if you have, say, 48 FHR from gear that 12 from the charm puts you at 60 and does absolute noting for you.

the sad truth. will be farming. im currently running trav/meph, can anybody suggest some good nm places for a barb?
You might consider farming Grand Charms and re-rolling them in the hopes of getting a +1 to a skill tree along with other potentially useful mods. The best places for this is in NM Arachnid Lair, Spider Cavern, Flayer Jungle and the Great Marsh, all of which are in the jungle - your favorite area.

Charms in from these areas have a sufficient ilvl that they can get the +1 to a skill tree while not being too high that the pool of possible mods dilutes the odds. It also gives you something to do will all those perfect gems which accumulate.

5. repair costs are getting insane since i have to whack at a zombie for 2 straight minutes before he falls
Consider hoarding Ort runes. Ort + Weapon transmuted in Cube = fully repaired weapon. Ort + any chipped gem + Weapon = fully repaired and recharged.

this is cute. i uhhh... am holding onto this. if i ever feel extravagant i might put a faith in here and put it on a1 merc. who knows....
While the Diamond Bow is an Elite item it has a base speed [0]. I prefer using a Blade or Great Bow with base speed [-10] for the merc. This is expecially important if you have LL on the merc. The quicker she hits her targets, the quicker she regens life.
Quotes will break if I use one more, so your's is in Italic:
"
so funny that the run i made the duress, countess drops me this. treachery up next. ill be testing both. either way i wouldnt mind a stashed treachery for prebuffs"
Use an online cacluator and be sure you hit your breakpoints for IAS. As an example, my melee Sorc uses Passion in PB which has a base speed of [-30] and Treachery armor. Passion's 25% IAS and Treachery's 45% gives her 70 and that gets her into the fastest possible breakpoint she can have. I'd imagine it will be similar for your Barb.
Good luck on your WT. After all these years this is still the single most fun game I've every played.
