The next drop is a doozie. I had been planning to restat to allocate more points into holy shield, and maybe use shael'd wizzy while smiting, but then this dropped.





That is it for three days. no drops to write to you about. Maybe some chancies that meph dropped in between. that is it.

Sweet! Three days of MF'in trav starting to pay off again! It was 3 am here. I was determined to ride that streak and it payed off, but it was time to sleep.

Also, it's time to hang out w/ my wife. I've been posting all day. A month of a walkthrough is a lot of frigging screenshots.

nice finds, don't listen to the idiots saying it's fake. The 1.13 patch increased the rune drop rate tremendously. Looking forward to more screens.

You guys are stupid - if you bothered to actually READ the posts - he's been playing for a few months, and has not posted all his drops because it wastes time - he's posted the drops that are most awesome, and most relevant to his char. Travincal is real heavy on rune drops, so Vex really is not that surprising.

All the naysayers should play a hammerdin, single player /p8. Also, many say speed > MF, but you really need at least 100-200 MF to easily find most things that aren't CoA rare. Ya, speed > MF if the only monster with a reasonable chance to drop what you are looking for is Baal. Otherwise I find that it helps tremendously, and more importantly, keeps things interesting with cool rares as you play.

With respect to the cool rares - that is why throwbarb is so fun. There are very few set & unique throwing weapons, so many of those drops become rares instead, which increases the chances of finding a good combination of affixes. I was both happy and sad when gimmershred dropped for him. And then another set later. In fact this pally found some too, I have a screenie but it didn't make the cut. They take the fun & uniqueness out of the game a bit. On the other hand, finding Lacerators for him is another reason I made this Pally! And when I start that search, yes, speed will trump MF. So whatever I guess!

At this point I had been level 91 for too long. Trav & Shenk still gave some exp, but it wasn't going up very fast. I decided to go back to chaos & WSK.

I was glad I did because it wasn't very long before my second Ohm drop. It came on the river of flame again. On realms I usually tele over that place. No more!


OK all, that is it for HR drops so far in the walk. That was ~ one week ago, so no more HRs in the last week.

Now another interesting option is open to me... Exile instead of Dracs.. So I am now ISO

Thanks! And @sebhehe - ya it is not possible to farm an item exactly - but ride the streaks. Look at the first meph quest drop. It had magic serpentskin armor. My thought process? "So close! run him again!" Until I saw meph dropping consistently from a different TC I was going to continue to run him. Did I get lucky? Yea! Kind of.

First of all, he has played for two months exactly, today. I don't care what you say. He has found 5-6 HRs already and everything he needs drops. EVERYTHING.

Second of all, you know nothing about me. To give you the surface, I've probably done 20 000 LK runs, if not more. Andy, Countess, Mephisto, Council Members, Curast Causeways Dungeons, CS and Baal... I've just lost count of. Too many.

I have never seen drops this good, ever. "I NEED HOTO", Pul and Vex - caching! "NEED CTA!!!", Ohm, Ist, Mal - cacacahcahing! and now Lo, Ohm and another Vex. Also I don't need to remind you that this is not two months of mfing, but also play time up to hell and to his current level.

I have a Javazon in single player, without mods on HC /players 8. She's level 92. I've done over 2k LK runs and several hundred of CS in /players 8. I've found a Gul rune. This guy is on /players 1 from time to time and gets drop after drop after drop. Whisp Projector, Dwarf, SoJ, everything he needs.

You are blind and stupid if you don't realize this guy is cheating. Michellegirl was even less obvious than this. It's retarded.
