So, I ran into similar issues with my act 2 merc here as I had with Duriel back in Act 2. Diablo absolutely destroys my merc. I had to figure out a new way to take him out.





Pulled the rusty "Edge" runeword bow out of the stash and gave it to my new merc.

Strategy: Teleport around, or run around and distract Diablo while my Merc shoots arrows at him.

"Edge" has "prevent monster heal" as a bonus, so as long as I can keep her actively shooting, he will wither down slowly.

When I say slowly... I wasn't kidding. This fight took at least 20 minutes...

I went through a whole tome of town portals...

His accuracy was perfectly annoying.





I figured out a way to distract him a bit as well. If you randomly open up tps he will want to shoot bone prisons around them, which gave my merc a few free shots, and me time to heal or mana up.

SUCCESS! 20 minutes later, Diablo Falls. I am hoping for some good level ups in act 5 (and to not die obviously)!

Time to get to the good stuff boys! Close to Hell!



He even decided to drop this great armor, which means I can kill bosses with my act 2 merc a bit better now. The open wounds prevents healing IIRC.

I have been thinking about using a Reskill/Restat at Akara.

I have figured out what works with this build for the most part, so I might try and change my build up a little bit in a few places.

We shall see.





I threw away the Hwanin Bill. Insight provides too many benefits for me.




That completes update #7! Act 5 time soon!
